Summer's Here! We Want To Hear From You!

Good morning and happy summer!!! Did it sneak up on anyone else?  How are you spending your "lazy" days?  Or should I say, how are your kids spending their lazy days...    My boys are loving being out of school, although, I'm sure the "Mom, I'm bored!!" will start soon. Our 4 year old doesn't know it's summer:)
What are your summer plans?  Are you more of a low key family or do you like trips?  Amusement parks or camping? The beach or a staycation?
Do you have any fun summer traditions, like making ice cream, water balloon fights, lemonade stands? Share them with us!!

Which one is your ideal getaway??
 OR

What about those of you with children who haven't been part of your family for long? Do you plan on staying closer to home or does your child enjoy being on the go? Our daughter, home 6 1/2 months, likes to be busy, but HAS TO know what to expect.  Hotel rooms can be a little bit tricky;)

Leave us your best tips for having fun during the (sometimes-->) long weeks of summer!! We love hearing from you! Do you have a Pinterest board for fun activities for your kids?  Leave the link on comments so we can check it out, too! Share the love!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have you missed giving to our families over the past few weeks? Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! Take a few minutes to scroll back through our previous posts and give your $1s!! I promise, they will love it! Stay tuned for our family of the week next week.
THANK YOU for following along and being generous.  We all appreciate your generosity:):)

Meet the Sheahen Family!

Adoption is a journey. Jonathan, Shawna, Silas, Eli, and Cooper have been on this journey for a year and a half so far... a journey to Lulah! They named her in June of last year while they were still in the waiting stages of being matched.

Fast forward 9 months. It was just another night of checking to see if any new children had come on to the waiting list and there she was. Her name... Lullah!  What are the chances!

I can only imagine it was one of those God moments that left their jaws on the floor :) Before they could get their jaws back in place, the agency they are working with sent them photos of a few other kids waiting at the same orphanage and. there. she. was. Jovia! This news is SO new that Jovia didn't even make it into the video. God is blessing them with a double portion!! Isn't He good!

This may be your first time here so I am going to review how this works. Every Monday we are going to ask you for a dollar. We’re going to tell you who it’s going to and what it’s being used for. This week is the Sheahen Family and their adoption of two sweet girls! We’re mostly funding adoption for the people, by the people. The premise is for lots of people to give a little and let it all add up!....And your dollar will be saving and restoring lives in all kinds of ways. Removing a child from an orphanage gives that child a family and a future, something everyone needs. It also frees up a bed in an orphanage for another child.

Here's our family's video!!

All right, my friends. Did you do it? Give your dollar and help bring home, not one, but TWO little beauties and place them in the arms of their Momma and Daddy!!

Watch! Click here and the donate button is on the right... scroll down just a bit! Share with the world so they can help bring orphans home too!

From the family:

"We have been making reclaimed wood crosses and vintage map scripture prints to raise money and will have a bunch of them on our blog to sell this week and will be having a giveaway for one!"

Check out their blog www.loveforlulah.com for more information, to follow the family, and to donate!

Thank you everyone!!

Bump the Post

Okay everyone, we need to band together and bump the Lee Family Post.
Share it everywhere.
If you use twitter, pinterest, google plus, facebook.....utilize them and
SHARE.

You never know who will want to be a part of their story.
A lot of families have complete strangers give to them.
And those strangers heard about the need through Give1Save1.

Can we reshare their link?

The Lee Family!!

It's true. I have a soft spot for China adoptions.
I love China. I love adoption.
Combine the two and it's a recipe for giddy excitement.

The Lee family is crazy and lovable and hilarious.
See?

The Lee family already has approval for this sweet little boy.
Swoon.
He is five and has spina bifida.

Um, is he not unbelievably cute?

This amazing family is also waiting on one more file to make the
number of children not one but two that they are adopting!!

You can donate through their Reece's Rainbow account here.

Here is their video:
