My name is Kristie and I have been married to my husband, Tony, for 12 years. I always knew I wanted to adopt internationally after having a child of mine own first. However, after being diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and endometrisos we knew our family was always meant to grow by adoption. We pursued a domestic infant adoption for our first adoption. We adopted our son, Hudson, two years ago and have an open adoption with his birthmom. Although the relationship has had its hard times I couldn't imagine not having contact with this wonderful woman. We are currently in the process of adopting from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa, and are excited to see our family grow!
